This agreement is between Yusr Al-Tawasul Co. (شركة يسر التواصل) ("Yassir", "we") and you, the person applying to offer sessions as a mentor. It applies in addition to the Terms and Conditions, the Community Standards, and the Professional Guidance Disclaimer, all of which bind you as a user; where this agreement is stricter, it prevails for mentors. You accept it when you submit your mentor application, and your profile cannot be activated without that acceptance. We record the time of acceptance and the version accepted.
1. Your status: independent, and yours to secure
(a) You provide sessions as an independent service provider. You are not Yassir's employee, worker, agent, partner, or joint venturer; you have no authority to bind Yassir; and nothing here entitles you to employment benefits, insurance, or pension from us. Your views are your own and we do not endorse them by listing you.
(b) Your existing obligations come first — and checking them is your job. Before offering sessions, satisfy yourself that doing so does not breach your employment contract, non-compete, confidentiality undertakings, professional licence, regulator's rules, or employer policy. We do not and cannot assess this for you. If it turns out you were not free to offer sessions, that is between you and your employer or regulator — and §11 applies.
(c) You are not obliged to offer any minimum availability, and we are not obliged to send you any minimum bookings.
2. Commercial terms
(a) Commission. Yassir's Service Fee is 30% of the session fee, flat, deducted automatically when a session is paid for. Payment-processing and gateway costs are borne out of Yassir's share, not added to yours.
(b) Worked example. You price a session at 600: the mentee pays 600, Yassir's fee is 180, and 420 is yours, before any refund adjustments under §3 and before your own taxes.
(c) Your price is yours. You set your hourly rate and may change it at any time; changes apply to future bookings only.
(d) Currency. All prices, fees, and payouts are denominated in Saudi riyals (SAR).
(e) Rate changes by us. We may change the commission on 14 business days' written notice; bookings made before the change takes effect are unaffected.
(f) Promotions. If we discount a session at our own cost, your share is calculated on the undiscounted price. If you choose to join a promotion that reduces your price, your share is calculated on the reduced price you agreed to.
3. Getting paid — and when money comes back out
(a) Payouts run through our payment provider to the account you connect. You must complete its onboarding and identity checks before your first payout; payout timing then follows the schedule published on the Platform. Incorrect payout details are your responsibility to fix; we re-send a failed payout when corrected details are provided.
(b) Refund adjustments. Under the Cancellation, Refund & No-Show Policy:
- if you cancel, or fail to attend, the mentee is refunded in full and you earn nothing for that session;
- if the session runs 10 or more minutes short of its booked length, the mentee's 20% refund is funded entirely from your share — Yassir's fee is unchanged. A late start you fully make up by running past the scheduled end owes nothing;
- if the session runs 30+ minutes short, or you are absent, the full refund is funded by everyone: you earn nothing and Yassir waives its fee.
(c) Chargebacks. If a mentee's payment is reversed by their bank, we may recover the corresponding amount from your balance or future payouts. We contest chargebacks with the booking records where the session was delivered.
(d) Withholding. We may withhold a payout, in whole or in part, while a dispute, chargeback, incident, or suspected fraud concerning it is open — for as long as reasonably necessary to resolve it, and no longer. Withheld amounts are released promptly when resolved in your favour.
(e) Taxes are yours. You are solely responsible for registering for, reporting, and paying every tax and levy on your earnings — income tax, VAT, Zakat, social insurance — in every jurisdiction where you are liable. We do not withhold tax for you unless the law requires us to. If you are VAT-registered, you are responsible for your own invoicing obligations, including e-invoicing under ZATCA rules where they apply to you.
4. Your profile and verification
(a) Everything on your profile — name (in both scripts), headline, employer, role, biography, credentials, experience — must be accurate, current, and yours. Material misrepresentation is grounds for immediate removal and forfeiture of pending earnings for affected sessions.
(b) You will provide the verification documents we reasonably request, and tell us promptly if a material fact changes — you leave the employer your profile names, lose a licence, or a credential lapses. We may re-verify periodically and may suspend a profile whose verification has gone stale.
(c) "Verified" status describes our review at a point in time; it is not a qualification we confer, and you may not present it as an endorsement.
5. Mentor standards
These are the commitments every mentor makes. They are summarised here in plain terms; the detail — and the money consequences — sit in §3 and below.
Showing up
- Join within 5 minutes of the scheduled start time. The room opens 10 minutes early so you can check your camera and microphone first.
- Stay for the full booked duration. Ending early without the mentee's agreement is not delivering the session.
- Keep your availability accurate. Publish only slots you can genuinely attend, and keep your calendar current.
- Cancel at least 3 hours before the start, other than in a genuine emergency. Cancelling later, or not at all, counts against you.
- Respond to booking-related messages within 48 hours.
- No repeated cancellations or no-shows. A pattern is treated as a failure to meet these standards, regardless of the reason given for any single one.
What the system does automatically: you have a 10-minute lateness buffer, and a late start you fully make up by running past the scheduled end counts as delivered in full. A session cut short by 10 minutes or more refunds the mentee 20% from your share; cut short by 30 minutes or no arrival at all is recorded as a no-show, refunds the session in full, and applies a rating penalty (§3(b)).
How you conduct yourself
- Behave professionally at all times, in line with the Community Standards.
- Deliver what your profile describes. Your listed services, expertise and experience must be accurate, and the session must match them.
- Protect mentee confidentiality. What is shared with you in a session stays with you (§7).
- Don't share private contact details — yours or theirs — unless there is a genuine need. Sessions are designed so nobody has to.
- Never record a session without the explicit, informed consent of everyone present.
Keeping it on Yassir
- Never ask a mentee to pay you outside Yassir, by transfer, cash, or any other route.
- Don't move Yassir mentees off-platform for sessions you would otherwise deliver here (§9).
If standards are not met. Yassir may warn, suspend, delist, or remove a mentor who repeatedly falls short of the above, and may withhold or reverse payouts connected to sessions that were not delivered (§10).
6. Conduct of sessions
(a) Publish only slots you can genuinely attend; keep your calendar current; attend on time — the delivered-time consequences in §3(b) are automatic.
(b) Respond to booking-related messages within 48 hours.
(c) Deliver sessions professionally and honestly, per the Community Standards, and give the session your full attention for its full duration.
(d) No promised outcomes. You may not promise or imply a job, offer, admission, interview result, or any other outcome.
(e) No regulated advice. You may not provide — or let a session appear to provide — medical, legal, financial, or other regulated professional services, per the Professional Guidance Disclaimer.
(f) No recording of sessions without the explicit, informed consent of everyone present.
7. Confidentiality and data protection
(a) Third parties' information. You will not disclose confidential information belonging to your current or former employers, clients, or any third party. Guidance from general experience is what you're here for; non-public information is not.
(b) Mentee information. Everything a mentee shares — briefs, CVs, attachments, personal circumstances — is confidential. Use it solely to deliver that session. Do not retain it beyond the session's reasonable aftermath, share it with anyone, or use it for any other purpose. This is both a contractual duty to us and a data-protection obligation you owe under the PDPL when handling mentees' personal data.
(c) Yassir's information. Non-public information about the Platform, its users, or its operations that you learn as a mentor stays confidential.
(d) These obligations survive the end of this agreement indefinitely.
8. Intellectual property
(a) Your profile and materials stay yours. You grant Yassir a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, translate, and display your profile content — and marketing photographs or videos you expressly provide for the purpose — to operate and promote the Platform. The licence for promotion ends when your profile closes; the licence to retain records survives as long as the records lawfully must.
(b) Materials you create for a session (templates, guides, exercises) remain yours. The mentee may keep and use their copy for their own personal purposes; you may not be charged again for it and they may not resell it.
(c) Mentee materials remain the mentee's. §7(b) governs your use.
(d) Reviews left about you are the reviewer's content, hosted by us; you may not demand their removal except as the review rules in the Terms allow.
(e) Yassir's brand — the name, the marks in both scripts, the software and design — is ours. You may say, truthfully, that you are "a mentor on Yassir"; you may not use our brand otherwise without written permission.
9. No taking deals off the Platform
You may not solicit or accept payment for sessions off-platform from users you met through Yassir, share contact details before a confirmed booking to arrange paid sessions elsewhere, or encourage cancellations in order to deal directly. Terms §12 applies with full force, and breach is grounds for fee recovery, withholding, and removal.
10. Suspension, termination, and what survives
(a) You may stop any time: close your profile, honour or cancel (per the Cancellation policy) your confirmed sessions, and this agreement winds down. Earned, undisputed amounts for delivered sessions are still paid out.
(b) We may suspend or remove you — with notice where reasonably practicable, immediately where not — for material breach of this agreement, the Terms, or the Community Standards; for verification failures; where your continued presence creates risk to users or the Platform; or where the law requires. §10(a)'s payout rule applies except to amounts forfeited or withheld under §3(d), §4(a), or §11.
(c) Survival. §3(c)–(e), §6, §7, §10, and §11 survive termination.
11. Indemnity
You will indemnify Yassir against claims, losses, and reasonable costs (including legal fees) arising from: credentials or profile claims that were false; breach of your confidentiality or data-protection obligations; regulated services you provided in breach of §6(e); your breach of obligations owed to an employer, client, or regulator; and your unlawful conduct.
12. Liability, law, and disputes
(a) Yassir's liability to you is limited as Terms §17–§18 provide, and the release in Terms §18(d) applies between you and mentees.
(b) This agreement is governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Disputes follow Terms §20: good-faith resolution first via legal@yassir.dev, then the competent Saudi courts.
(c) This agreement is published in Arabic and English.
13. Changes
We may update this agreement on 14 business days' notice for material changes. Continuing to offer sessions after the effective date is acceptance; if you do not accept, close your profile before it takes effect and §10(a) applies.
